Power of Sound?

If sound can be one the most damaging forms of energy, can it also be a form that has great potential to heal?

Santiago

Quite likely. Have you seen discussion about mantras? See "Choosing mantras"

Tom

How do you distinguish between noise that is damaging vs healing?

Santiago

I do not know how to use the sound for healing, but most probably it would NOT be a "noise" but a harmonious composition of frequencies.

Sounds that are defined "dangerous" by experts (see The Book) are either too loud (conversation becomes impossible) or persistently disturbing (such as traffic for example).

Please note, that we do not have enough expertise on Earth to verify the damage caused by "noise". It is best to be careful and take example from Nature.

Tom,
Have you heard of Hemi-Sync technology? It works on the premise that multi-layered patterns of sound frequencies can positively effect brain activity, through the development of what is called a binaural auditory beat. It would appear to balance the brain activity as does your visual cross exercise.

JG

Maybe. I tried it 5 years ago for 2 days and it took me many months of dilligent meditation practice to recover my spiritual abilities.

I don't think that interfering with any part of our body is a good idea. My view is that we should aim to use the MIND to control functions of the body.

Tom

Where do we draw the line on interference? How does one discrern between interference of the Hemi-Sync kind and using technology such as bioresonance?

JG

The best is to look at the POWER source.

Sound is an external source of vibration that needs a POWER supply. Bioresonant patterns do NOT have any power supply. They "reflect" and interact with electromagnetic emmisions of the body itself. They do not put any extra "energy" to the human body.
