Brainwave therapy?

How does biofeeback therapy ( brainwave therapy)used to treat ADD, epilepsy etc and also said to increase spirituality affect the intellect/psyche?

No one really knows for sure how and where our intellect/psyche are encoded. Have you seen my hypothesis?

However, even without knowing any details of the "biofeedback" therapy that you refer to I can make a very reasonable guess what happens.

ANY feedback situation, whether natural or artificial, provides an environment for LEARNING for anyone intelligent. Providing people with a new feedback simply helps them to LEARN new things. The more intelligent is the feedback, the better the learning - like in any school. If the feedback is misleading - learned skills are useless and may even be dangerous.

REAL questions are - how useful is this feedback? Can an incompetently designed feedback cause mis-programming and wrong reflexes? Can better results be achieved by training/inspiring the Intellect without electrical interventions?
