Who cares?

In The Book the people of Thiaoouba are keen to stress the importance of us changing our ways to avoid destruction of the planet.

If the planet was destroyed then we wouldn't we just continue as normal, i.e. another physical life on another planet.

Also you have stated that everything material is temporary. In view of this then why does it matter if the planet Earth and mankind are wiped out? Who cares.

What really matters is who learns what. The most serious issue is the pollution of consciousness with fear and misinformation. Have you ever thought that misinformed people could blame God for a disaster that they had caused themselves? Such people would continue to pollute the Universe (and their next planet) with the fear of God.

People from Thiaoouba stress the importance of Understanding what is going on and WHY. Note that they adopt an attitude of "information and explanation" rather than an attitude of material help such as cleaning pollution and saving the planet.

I would even say that any material disaster (including deliberate blowing the planet to pieces) is actually justified IF more people could learn more from such a disaster than without it. Destruction of Sodom is a perfect example.
