Tom, in your book you show that the most important is development of our intellect. What about compassion and feelings?
Joseph
Let me ask you a question: who is capable of experiencing and expressing a wider range of higher feelings - a person who is highly intelligent or a person who is completely stupid?
You have to admit, that a highly intelligent person is able to experience and express a much wider range of feelings than a person with limited intelligence.
"Compassion" for a person with limited intellect typically means no more than "taking pity of someone". An intelligent person will express his/her compassion by inspiring other people and showing them how they can help themselves. Such an action, however, requires the ability to understand the REASON of a given situation in a WIDER context.
The ability to understand is a feature of INTELLECT isn't it? In short, the smarter we become - the better we can advise other people in trouble.

Experiencing emotions and feelings. Do you feel that choosing to be a female enhances the earthly experience more so than being male, or are women just more open about everything?
Belle
Our intellect is neither male nor female. It is a myth that one gender is more sensitive or open than another.
The differences that we observe are due to upbringing, following certain "stereotypes" and fulfilling expectations of other people.
