I took a long time imagining what might be the most pleasant and most satisfying activity for my intellect in order to develop itself, in the absence of a physical body, and I came to the conclusion that it would be 'the actual trying out and testing of all my ever-developing ideas and theories to a satisfactory end'. Not once did I come across a need to FEEL. How do feelings stem from the intellect which deals only with thoughts, theories, hypotheses?
Also, I did not come to the natural conclusion that 'loving' and 'being loved' is the most pleasant and satisfying kind of feeling. I was personally more on the lines of 'security' and 'comfort'. Somebody else I asked responded with 'freedom'. So, how did you conclude that 'love' is the ultimate, universal feeling? Isn't it different for different people?

You need to do some more thinking and imagining. Feeling is a THOUGHT.
Examine your Self. Can you determine WHY do you need "security" and "comfort"? Is it because you fear FEELING the opposite? Is it because you want to FEEL good?
Now imagine that you DO feel "good". You FEEL secure and comfortable. Would it REALLY satisfy you? Imagine that you FEEL secure and comfortable for 1000 years, 24 hours a day. Don't you find anything missing?
What would make you feel BETTER? What would make you feel BEST?

I think your book is very interesting, and I want to Thank you the oportunity to read and get a copy, but I don't share your opinion about the need of suffering as you put it in this answer to Daniel... if we have free choice this means we could change it anyway, and if we didn't we should discover why? and work to change it, (at least how to deal with it.) If our propose is evolution, based on love, we have to abolish 'suffering', love, harmony and happiness should be the answer. About the tortures and even cruxifixion we can change that too, I'm trying to find out the way...

Me too. Unfortunately it is impossible to learn to walk without falling many times.
In fact, it is impossible to Understand anything, without making (or observing) choices and experiencing their consequences.
Suffering is a DIRECT result of ignorance. The more ignorance - the more suffering. Elimination of suffering is simple - we need to eliminate ignorance. To accomplish this - we need to inspire people to comprehend the CONTEXT and The Purpose of their OWN existence and increase their Understanding of the Reality of the Universe. People who understand the context and The Purpose of their own Existence make better/wiser choices that cause less suffering.
The last person born on Earth who found it out all by himself was Buddha. The essence of his findings are summarized on page 51. If you find any better way of eliminating the suffering - please let us know.
It is not sufficient to "preach" love or any other way of life. It is neccessary for people to Understand WHY love and harmony is the best choice that they can make. The difficulty is that no one can understand anything for anyone else... Everyone HAS TO develop the understanding entirely on his/her own. I tried to explain my views in The Freedom of Choice, but I cannot force anyone to understand them.
