Interpreting dreams?

Dream is something that is hard to interpret. But sometimes, same dreams do reoccur a few times. This happens with a reason as the reoccurring dream automatically bring us to pay attention about something in the life which deserve deeper consideration. How do we going to interpret such a dream?

I do not think that we have ANY real expertise on Earth to interpret dreams. Have you seen the article about the physics of consciousness?

My understanding, which is limited, is that dreams are essential functions of our consciousness, perception and their evolution.

From my own experiences, many dreams seem to be TESTS that prepare us for certain decisions and certain actions. They are also TESTS of our spiritual maturity. We "see" consequences of our decisions "in a dream" without having to experience these consequences in our life.

What intrigues me most is the question: WHO sets up such a clever and SO intimate tests? The only logical explanation is that it has to be my "mentor" or a "teacher" who knows all my weaknesses. Following The Book I have called this "mentor" my Higher Self.

Other reasons for "dreams" that I could clearly identify are "nightmares" that are variations of bad impressions received during the day. One day I saw a 20 second fragment of TV News about violence and injustice that upset me greatly. What I discovered was that my consciousness could create many variations of such an impression during my dreams. In my dreams I became a "wittness" a "victim" or "someone who tries to help", re-experiencing the same situation over and over again. It took me days of meditation to calm down the mind and "resolve" the polluting presence of such a violent and upsetting information. However, I have to admit, that in the process of conscious dreaming - I LEARNED the most rational approach to specific violent situations.

In summary, I have to admit that I learn from my dreams NO LESS than when I experience something in my physical life. The challenge is to SEE the LESSON. This challenge is exactly the same as in everyday other situation in life - we should attempt to recognize lessons in every experience.

From the above it becomes obvious that interpretation of dreams has to be a VERY PRIVATE process. Only YOU can truly understand all aspects of your dreams. Study the Self and find out the lesson.
