I have a question about nature. It feels like some events in nature are out of our control, like when wild animals kill a human, volcanoes erupt etc. What is the major thing to learn in those situations?
Andreas
Are you sure that we know enough about Nature to exclude the existence of REASONS for certain events?
My understanding is that life is a test whether we understand Nature or just dream that we do. This test, much like any examination, contains unexpected situations and problems to solve. The sole purpose of these is to give us an opportunity to VERIFY how much we understand.
What can we learn by getting eaten by animals of dying in a volcanic erruption? How about learning to die?
Don't you agree that people have to die many times before they start comprehending the possibility of separation of their Consciousness from their physical body?

I sure do. [Andreas]
You were addressing this problem in the book but still it makes me wonder. I have found my purpose in doing healing work. This is an area that to my knowledge will go through radical changes in the coming years. I often find myself in situations where I have to explain what is it that I do and what is it based on. I try to find the level from where the person is speaking and make some sense that he could understand the idea or principle. How ever I find it extremely hard at times. Naturally my own level of understanding causes some trouble also. How to know when I should not bother? Sometimes I have the feeling that 'the world' of some people can tolerate any unorthodox ideas.

Never doubt that a SMALL group of determined people, or even a SINGLE PERSON can CHANGE the world. In fact this is the ONLY thing that EVER did...
