Can we inspire other people to THINK?
I have a proof that Believing is not enough: You need to know.
Imagine that you are in first grade. You have a very nice teacher. He tells you that 2+2 is 5 and since he is so kind to you, you believe him 100% and don't listen to people who suggest that he might be wrong. How far do you think you're gonna go in school with that attitude?

When you have the courage to go your own way and not follow the masses, this plants the seed of independance in other's minds. When you are not afraid anymore, it encourages others to take the first step. I guess that's teaching by example.
Also, writing a book like the Freedom Of Choice.Books reach alot of people. [Belle]
First: Counsciousness, takes you to act in harmony. All this creates a kind of energy because you are in a deep contact with the self. This makes the others think, to question, and try to understand or know more about what/how you are living...they see that isn't a question of being 'nice' or kind, it's a state of mind, this provokes them, makes them to realize and start to find out, what is right, or not. Independently that we think the other is nice or kind doesn't mean we just accept what she / he tries to teach us... we can for a while and as far as we don't have the opportunity to hear somethimg different or just find out by ourselves, sooner or later we realize that something doesn't make sense...Everybody wants to be happy, when they look around and find out the others are, they certain will start question why? .... and they will think.

When I ask people "What would make you happy? Permanently happy? Is there anything that you can imagine doing or experiencing 20 hours everyday for 1,000,000 years that will make you truly happy?" - they DO NOT KNOW. They are lost - they DO NOT THINK about it and they NEVER DID.
No one can THINK for anyone else. It seems that we all need to experience a lot of suffering to begin searching for the essence of happiness WITHIN. We need CONTRAST.
The Great Intellect manifested itself by designing the entire Conscious and Living Universe and still - most people do not even notice the Design. Can anyone ever do anything more inspiring than designing the Universe and autonomous Life?
Is there anything better to do than to think and increase our OWN Understanding how to become eternally happy? Whether or not other people choose to get inspired - is totally up to them. Even The Great Intellect doesn't interfere with their choices. Why should we?
The Universe is Designed to be Self-Correcting. Eventually it will be inhabited only by the Best of the Best - those who will LEARN how to create rather than disrupt the Harmony. Aiming to design anything else in The Beginning would be an insult to Intellect. For more details about this please read the sequel to The Freedom of Choice.

Non best-of-best intellects referring strictly to a long-term post universe goal?
That is nature. On the positive side if my above assumption is correct, we have quite a while to study for the big 'exam.'

This is a goal for THIS Universe. I am quite sure that each and every person has to CHOOSE surrendering his/her autonomy before the "re-formatting" of consciousness takes place.
A man who demonstrated the Immortality of Consciousness @2000 years ago said to Thomas: "If you bring forth what is WITHIN you, what you have will save you. If you do not have that WITHIN you, what you do not have within you will kill you." [2]
It seems that we have to CHOOSE not to use our Consciousness to loose it.

So it seems the electrons of the psyche are indestructible but if the psyche deteriorates to containing a large (whatever that means) amount of garbage data, it is recycled and the electrons are re-used for the creation another astral body/tree/animal?In other words, does this killing mentioned above means that people who misuse (and do not use) their intellect will actually become truly nonexistent one day? It would make great sense.

Quite possible. It is quite difficult to destroy an electron. However, it is quite possible to sabotage the information that is encoded in it.
Supose that someone loaded some clutter into the BIOS program or the operating system of your computer. As you know, your computer would become quite useless - you wouldn't even be able to boot it up. Wouldn't it be the most logical choice to re-format and re-write the BIOS and re-install the operating system?

Intellect is the most important aspect or property of consciousness - the ability to understand. To me, consciousness is a much wider term that includes perception, feelings, awareness, sense of humour etc...
