Hello Tom. Well, while I can agree with some parts of the book, one particular phrase caught my attention. Literally it was something about wearing 'weapon of murder' on your neck. I'm talking about the cross. I think you are plain wrong here. First - while you specifically didn't mention that Romans invented cross to kill people, it is my opinion that it was the way you presented this in the book. So my point is, if you would do some research onto the work of the worlds major scholar Zecharia Sitchin, or simply onto ancient history... You would see that the cross comes from 'crossing' (Something crossing something over, or simply something meeting something at a particular point/place) Now, hold on, I will explain what I'm into. The cross comes from the crossing of the one planetary body (*10th* planet, or *12th* - Ancient Sumerians 5000+ years ago counted the Sun and the Moon as planets also) with another... Impatiently waiting for a reply...

Are you saying that millions of people on Earth wear crosses on their neck because they celebrate a planetary collision?
It actually doesn't matter if people celebrate a cross or a shoelace. It doesn't matter if these items represent planets, stars or events such as torture and death.
My conclusion is that such celebrated and worshipped items TOTALLY misrepresent The Great Intellect.
Can you paint Intellect? What color it is?
Can you make a sculpture of Intellect? What is its shape?
From the above it is obvious that ANY idolatry, whether it relates to an item or a person, is an activity designed to keep people in the dark to the greatest extent possible and prevent development of their Individual Intellect. In other words idolatry helps to keep people stupid with their own consent.

I still don't see anything bad in wearing a cross, as I long as *I* understand it's original meaning and origin. The original meaning has been lost and was forgotten/surpressed by the Church, but it doesn't mean that there are no people on this planet who do not know the true meaning of the cross.
Max
If celebrating the cross satisfies your Intellect - I respect it. There is nothing I can or should do. You have the Freedom of Choice.
Tom
Could you please tell me what does the *KNOWLEDGE* or origins of the cross has to do with misrepresenting the Great Intelect?
Max
I am just testing your comprehension of The Freedom of Choice book. You seem to miss the point.

Hi Tom, On the subject of the cross... from someone who hasn't read your book... The cross represents the ultimate sacrifice of Love. Granted, it is just a symbol, but I think labeling it as 'Idolatry' is a bit overboard. We all have a 'higher power' that we turn to when we face challenges. It does not matter what we label that higher power or what symbols evoke it's presence in our lives. It is my opinion that the knowledge you speak of comes from considering and respecting all belief systems, by not allowing our minds to be narrowed by those systems and (most important)not being so blinded by our own thoughts and ideas that we take nothing else into consideration. You are correct, We all have the Freedom of Choice. I choose Love. Love tells me to listen to the ideas of others and respect their choices and beliefs without criticism. They may have something to teach me! And above all, Love tells me to continue to look further!!

Let's focus on Love, not on symbols.
