Encouragement?

I was reading the forum and there was this sentence:

'..do ONLY things that make the perfect sense to YOU in the context of YOU achieving your OWN goal. '

It really is difficult to keep observing myself all the time no matter what. In a way, it becomes easier, when i think that all the choices, that make no sense whatsoever, being there side by side on my way with the right choices, are just necessary in the learning proccess. Necessary, like random thougths are when first trying to concentrate, because i wouldn't even notice that those thoughts are random if i wasn't trying to concentrate.

I guess i'm trying to convince myself that the things i feel as right for me truly are right for me. And hoping for some encouragement that it is possible to be in tune with one's goal all the time.

There will always be confusing distractions, obstacles and excuses. Read "The Ego" chapter again to see what I mean.

My research indicates that the best encouragment seems to come from 2 sources

1. self-examination of motives and goals
2. your Higher Self.

In the second case, after deciding what to do I ask "If it is a step in positive direction (the highest good) can I please have some confirmation or help?"

Sometimes I ask my Higher Self for assistance in overcoming annoying obstacles, on the way to my goal. If I receive help, I consider it to be a confirmation that I am on the right track.
