Hi Tom, First, let me say that you have done the seemingly unthinkable with your book, TFoC. Ive read it twice now, and I'm still absolutely in awe of the near perfect logic you've put forth in writing it.
I Originally read TFoC and The book several years ago, and only after learning of the forums here and going through them did i find a place for my thoughts on here. I have a couple I wish to express.
First, I have to admit both surprise and concern about the way you group together those who choose not to understand things that could do them a world of good. You say that such people will eventually bring about their own destruction in our self perfecting universe.
I feel as though youre giving too little credit to their potential, which is of course only limited by them. The barrier, as I see it, is HOW. "You can only bring a horse to water, but you cannot make him drink it." What if you could speak the same language as the horse, could you not suggest that it is in his best interests?
My attitude on the matter is not so passive that I accept the failures of others so prematurely. Even if a stubborn christian zealot would NEVER listen to a word of real truth, that is not to say the person should cease existing so as to cause intelligent people to be less annoyed. There will be other lifetimes for them to learn what they refuse to learn now.
Living in the US, after having the bush nightmare continue after re-election, and all the brainwashed masses that support him (My father included) has made me no stranger to dealing with stubborn and ignorant people, but rather, my heart aches for them. 'They know not what they do' Do you think it would be unwise of me to spend a week of time on such people, even if only 5 seconds made a difference?

Life is a process of dealing and coping with limited resources in the presence of annoying and unexpected disturbances.
How to make the biggest positive difference on Earth in the limited time available?
My approach is to provoke people to THINK. To achieve this, I wrote my thoughts down in the book (TFoC) and made it available globally to anyone on Earth - free of charge and in as many languages as possible.
When I published TFoC book I had to spend >12 hours each day answering hundreds of letters about it each day. Then I developed this Forum, so my provocative answers could become available globally too.
After trying many alternatives for a decade or so, I concluded that this is the most effective approach, given my limited resources in this life. I also concluded that, in the limited time available, I cannot help those who cannot handle being provoked to think, even though I appreciate their Potential.
This approach gives me time to meditate, work, study, research, give public concerts on my guitar, invent and design useful devices, prepare for self-sufficient survival and be always available to assist neighbors and anyone else who needs help and/or is interested in what I do. Since I moved to Mt Best I have more visitors than at any other time in my life...
Of course, you can choose a more "active" approach.
As for Nature (GI) - it provokes people to learn and think by letting them suffer full consequences of their own choices and attitudes. As you can see, my approach is fully compatible with Nature. Can a baby learn to walk without ever falling down?
