Mortgages anyone?

Everyone needs a house to live and every family has to take some sort of loans to buy a house. The mortgages + interests can really tie us fanancially of around 15-25 years. Sooner and later this would be happening to me. I am just wondering what I can do about it. It seems that in order to live in this society I have no choice.
