Tom I want to write from the views of an ordinary citizen of average intelligence, a housewife of 3 who is just that, an average housewife. I feel damned helpless, I find I want to cry all the time because I feel that my opinion, word is useless, I didn't think the war necessary but still it happened. How can Howard think he has the majority of the people behind him. My mum in law thinks we should leave Howard alone and give him a go... Why? What makes these people think? My mum in law thinks that Howard and the Liberal Party and American Leaders can do no wrong! It is unpatriotic to think outwise........my God how can any intelligent person think that way. I can only think that by thinking that way, it means well you don't have to think, you are getting someone else to do it for you and then you don't have to deal with the consequences!
Tom I often wonder what the heck I am doing here in this century, do I belong? I can never tell everyone what I honestly think, they would think me cracked so I have become more of a listener and say snippets of what I think and feel so I don't alienate anyone. Does anyone else think like me? How do you get on with day to day life with enthusiasm and optimsim when you feel like a puppet being pushed around by seemingly a very few stupid rulers... Why do they have much power, where is this democracy that we 'civilized' people talk about?
Kimbra, Tasmania
Using a word "democracy" to describe the present reality is an extreme language abuse.
It is like taking a dangerous chemical and calling it "ecstasy". If such an abuse is continued, the ecstasy itself will lose its meaning. Same for "democracy", "justice", "civilization" and many other beautiful words abused by modern day politicians.
Unfortunately the "majority" seems to follow leaders, without ever wondering where do they lead. You know what happens to those who stop, think and ask questions.
But you are not alone. Not in the Universe. You can always count on your Higher Self and even Great Intellect itself. Just ASK for inspiration.
Tom
I think that is indeed very beautiful; that one is not alone in the Universe and that there exist people who think in a very similar way.
At least there is a hope that that power which some use to rule over others will ultimately turn against them. I could verify this theory by simply observing people's behaviour in society.Best wishes! [Motz, Budapest]
Hi Kimbra,I feel compelled to respond to your email. Firstly, you are hardly of average intelligence if you can see right through the lies and distortions that so may people swallow without question. If you are an average housewife what on earth are you doing on this forum??? I think that this lesson you have understood is one many people on this planet are yet to learn. Just remember there are many people out there who disagree with the war. Don't mistake what you know with your stereotyped role in life.

My estimate is that no more than one person in a 1000 can see through the lies and tries to express concern. Hence, people like Kimbra belong to the top 0.1% of people on this planet.
Tom
Thank you very much for you comments and lovely words of inspiration, it is nice to know I am not alone.
Kimbra
We need to inspire more of those who can see through the lies but don't actually try to express concern to actually begin expressing their concern.
I bet that there are a lot of people who fear isolation/ridicule that follow expressing concerns. We need more facilities (such as this forum) to help people understand/explore the process of dealing with others AFTER they express their 'very alternative' points of view.

Somehow we need to reach "critical mass". If there are enough of us - it will be easier for those undecided to join in.
