Tom, I was wondering what you thoughts are on how you would have reacted/changed etc.. if the book you have written was already written by someone else years ago, and you read it yourself when you were much younger yourself and still exploring the world.. Would it have changed you much, or do you think you would have still had to go through the experiences of life yourself and come to your own conclusions..? (I know everyone has to go through their own experiences and form personal conclusions, but you do understand the general thing I am asking..)

My guess us that the earlier I would encounter the Freedom, the more profound effect it would have on my life. It doesn't mean that I would make less mistakes, but my mistakes would be of a different kind.
My motives to study engineering, mechanics, lasers, holography, music, computer programming and many other things would be completely different.
I was "seeking" satisfaction in my "achievements". Every time I "achieved" something (like a PhD or an academic job for example) I discovered that my accomplishment was NOT satisfying and that the "essence" was still missing.
Now I want to prove to myself and everyone else that I am not just dreaming about the Reality and The Purpose of the Universe. I want to use methods of science to convince myself and inspire others to do their own investigations.
You may be interested to know that I have read The Freedom at least 20 times since I published it. I read it as if someone else wrote it. Every time I am amazed how profound and how positive is the influence of this book on me. It expands the CONTEXT.
When we narrow down the context of our situation - we usually make very narrow-minded conclusions. For example, if I limit my context to building houses - Earth can and SHOULD be flat and I can even prove it with a ruler on my block of land. If it is not flat enough - I can always bulldoze it to make it flat.
Only when we EXPAND the context - can we see who we are and what is The Purpose of our Existence. The Freedom book does exactly this - it expands the Context. When I read it I become motivated again, no matter how sad or how tired do I begin with.
