What is normal?

What is it called when you reach the point of being able to run or bike as long as you choose and are not limited by anything? I was riding my bike and pushing myself further and further and just when I didn't think I could take it anymore it was so easy and my body didn't seem to think this was abnormal. Maybe this IS normal.

Our bodies can adapt to quite a range of circumstances. However, what seems easy to one person may be almost impossible to another.

The point is to know your limits and exercise enough to maintain and/or extend them.

When you know your abilities, you will also understand what I mean when I recommend avoiding exercises in a "survival mode" that put unnecessary strain to your precious physical body.
